Montara, Singapore
Yet another well executed project has been concluded with our 96" Fast Frame with levelling. A subsea pile support frame was required for the project to ensure that the 96" mooring pile were installed into the required project tolerances.
This project had a long delay due to the on-going in-field operations over the last two years, but once it was time for the mooring installation we were very quick to respond to ensure a successful and smooth installation campaign.

Kangean TSB, Singapore
IHC Sea Steel had their first opportunity to work with BW Offshore on their first direct FPSO mooring installation. The offshore campaign was very efficiently completed with an offshore piling phase of only nine days to complete all twelve FPSO mooring piles and all the chains laid out ready for the SPM connection.
This project is a really good example of the effective operation of our frames to ensure a smooth and efficient offshore campaign.

S397, Iraq
The 36" Fast Frame was contracted to assist in the installation of three SPM moorings with a six point mooring spread. This was an extremely challenging project with the requirement to allow our 36" Fast Frame to support a 36" pile and a large MHU-500 hammer.
In addition the frame required a much larger footprint to offset the additional weight of the hammer to ensure stability of the system.

OLS Replacement, Canada
Our 84" Fast Frame has been utilised for the OLS pile installations where our client required a vertical installation tolerance of less than 1°. With the use of our levelling system installed onto the 84" Fast Frame we were able to achieve these requirements with little effort.
With the developments of the levelling system in the 84" Fast Frame, IHC Sea Steel are able to offer a levelling solution that is globally available at short notice.

72" Slotted Frame used for Al Shaheen SPM 2
Yet again IHC Sea Steel had the opportunity to work with Acergy Singapore on the Al Shaheen project in Qatar to install the replacement SPM 2 offloading buoy in the field. The project was successfully concluded with good project planning for such a short fast tracked project that mobilised in less than one week from award.
Given the fast paced schedule all nine 60" mooring piles and one other 48" back down pile was installed in a quick turn around without the use of two separate sized support frames. This was achieved with our specialist sleeve insert to cater for multiple pile diameters. The project mobilised in early December 2010 and was concluded before the start of 2011.

Gumusut-Kakap field moorings, Malaysia
The Gumusut-Kakap field was a very challenging installation where the 96" Fast Frame was put through its paces. Not only was this the deepest, 1200 - 1500m, installation we have done to date for a frame this size. It had the challenges of installing piles to a tolerance within 0.5° vertical and was achieved with ease with the use of our new levelling system.
The piles for this project was considerably long due to the soil conditions in the field location where the top 15m below the seabed was considerably soft that required alterations of the frame to take into account the soft conditions and the stability of the structure on the seabed.
With the successful conclusion of this project we have yet again ensured a safe and timely conclusion to a project with our clients very pleased with our performance. The campaign started early October 2010 and concluded in mid-November 2010.

96FF levelling system, Singapore
IHC Sea Steel has hosted a successful launch day in Singapore for our new Levelling solution. This new development has been installed on our 96" Fast Frame. The levelling system allows piles to be driven vertically on seabeds with inclinations of up to 5 degrees.
The launch day was held on the 12th August 2010, with good attendance from people throughout the oil & gas industry. We have received very positive feedback for the levelling system and hope to roll the technology out over our fleet of rental frames.

Peregrino Field, Brazil
IHC Sea Steel was contracted be Aker Marine Contractors AS to provide an 84" Fast Frame for the installation of ten 84" mooring piles for a new FPSO in the Peregrino field, Brazil.
The project was successfully executed between November 2009 and February 2010. We received excellent feedback on efficient operation and performance of both IHC Sea Steel offshore personnel and equipment.

Vincent Conductor Installation, North Western Australia
IHC Sea Steel was contracted be TS Marine Pty Ltd to provide a 36" Fast Frame to install four 32" conductors for the well expansion of the Vincent and Enfield fields. This is a change to the usual piling activities of IHC Sea Steel, and has proved to provide a large cost saving to conductor installations, enabling the client to rent a drill rig for less time and therefore start oil production sooner.
The 36" Fast Frame was mobilised from Singapore in September 2009 and the installation was carried out between October and November 2009.

Ruby Field Pertonas Reposition of FPSO, South East Asia
IHC Sea Steel was contracted by SWG Offshore Ltd. (SWG) to provide a Fast Frame to install nine 65" mooring anchor piles for the repositioning of the Ruby Field FPSO. The work was executed between August and September 2009. All the pile were successfully installed with vertival tolerances not exceeding more than 2° verticality.

Alpha Ventus Project, First German Offshore Windfarm
IHC Sea Steel was engaged by NorWind to provide engineering services for the design of a method for the installation of jacket foundations for wind turbines, consisting of four piles to be installed within a tolerance of 250mm to one another.
This led to the development of an alignment template, used in conjunction with the 72” Slotted Frame, to accurately position the piles. Due to soft soil conditions at the site, the 72" Slotted Frame was fitted with mudmat extensions.
IHC Sea Steel was then contracted to impliment the proposed design. A total of 24 - No. foundation piles were installed, within the requested tolerances.
Blacktip Project, Offshore Australia
In a new association, TS Marine Pty Ltd contracted IHC Sea Steel to provide a 60” Fast Frame (60FF) for the installation of six 60” diameter mooring anchor piles. All piles were successfully deployed and installed.
The 60FF was deployed from Singapore and work was carried out between April and June 2009.

First for IHC Sea Steel at Al Shaheen field
The 72” Slotted Frame (72SF) was fitted with a removable sleeve insert to enable the installation of both 60” mooring piles and 48” backdown piles with the deployment of just one piling frame. The removable sleeve insert was a new endeavour for IHC Sea Steel, and all piles were effectively installed.
The frame has set a new company personal best to be able to install subsea piles in four hour turn arounds from positioning of the frame to the final penetration of the pile and recovery of the hammer. The 72SF was mobilised from Singapore to the Al Shaheen oil field, North East of Qatar.
IHC Sea Steel was also contracted by Acergy Singapore Pte Ltd to supply 1 – No. 48” Pile Upending Tool and one 60” Pile Upending Tool. Work was completed between April and June 2009.
